DescriptionThe whole story▼
The F3 800 is a 798 cc three-cylinder built in small numbers at Varese, and it is a narrow motorcycle in every dimension that matters here. The bars are short, the master cylinders sit close to the grips, and there is less room around a lever than on almost anything else in the class.
Key Features
- Vega profile, the longest of the three Fullsix shapes
- Clamps into the bar end; lever and master cylinder are untouched
- Autoclave-cured carbon, 200 Plain weave
- Five versions
- MV Agusta F3 800, 2014 to 2025
Vega Is Neither Left Nor Right
This is worth knowing before ordering. Fullsix names a side in the part description of every guard that has one; for Vega it names none. The order code ends in L, which in the CG18 family means left, but in the CG17 family left is SL and L is this third shape entirely. The letter is an article code, not a side code, and reading it as one is how people end up with the wrong part.
What that means in practice: Vega goes on whichever end of the bar you fit it to. Owners who want a matched pair on an F3 800 usually buy two.
Coverage, and Who Measures It
Of the three Fullsix shapes, Vega extends furthest forward of the lever. That matters at the small number of circuits whose technical regulations quote a dimension rather than simply requiring "a guard". The rest look at the motorcycle and wave it through with any of the three.
Fitment and Compatibility
MV Agusta F3 800, 2014 to 2025. Fullsix lists the same guard for a long line of other sports bikes, which is why the order code names no model.
Road Approval
No road-traffic approval is documented by the manufacturer for this guard.
