DescriptionThe whole story▼
The TC008 combines the two-cable, four-stroke CrossThrottle body from the TC003 with the GR008 semi-rigid grip, sold without cables so a matching pull-and-return set is sourced separately. Seven logo colours are offered on this version, two more than the five available on the single-cable TC007, making this the broadest colour choice across the whole GR008-equipped range, single-cable or two-cable. The body keeps the same two-cable mechanism built for four-stroke cable routing.
Key Features
- CrossThrottle control, two-cable mechanism for four-stroke engines
- GR008 semi-rigid grip included, black with a coloured logo
- Logo available in seven colours
- Sold without cables
- Made in Italy
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato builds the TC008's body the same way as the TC003, two aluminium half-rings, anodised, with the two-cable mechanism matched to four-stroke cable routing, but fits the GR008 grip as standard rather than leaving the body bare. The seven logo colours on offer here are a wider range than the five available on the single-cable TC007, though the grip itself, semi-rigid and black-bodied, is otherwise identical between the two. Like the rest of the CrossThrottle family, no internal cam system is listed, so the stroke and response follow the cable set and grip rather than an adjustable cam.
The Widest Logo Colour Range in the CrossThrottle Family
Across the GR008-equipped CrossThrottle listings, the TC008 offers the most logo colours, seven against the TC007's five, a difference that comes from the options Accossato lists for this specific two-cable, four-stroke pairing rather than from any change to the grip's material or shape. Riders who want a particular logo colour not available on the TC007 may find it here instead, provided the two-cable, four-stroke mechanism suits their machine. The grip's semi-rigid compound and black body stay the same regardless of which logo colour is picked, so the decision is purely cosmetic rather than a change in feel.
Fitment and Compatibility
No named motorcycle sits behind the TC008's fitment; what counts is a handlebar with a standard clamp and a cable run built for the two-cable, four-stroke pattern this body uses. Ordering the matching pull-and-return cable set at the same time avoids a second delivery, since without it the grip and body alone cannot connect to the engine. A two-stroke machine, or a four-stroke relying on a single return spring, calls for the TC007 instead. In the Inter-Pace garage it is listed for four-stroke competition off-road motorcycles, motocross and enduro; the Fitment tab names the individual models.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the TC008; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. The throttle must return to the idle position on its own as soon as the grip is released; check this after fitting, before riding.
