DescriptionThe whole story▼
The TE 300 is the largest of Husqvarna's two-stroke enduro range, built for riders who want more torque out of tight, technical ground than the 250 provides. Accossato lists the CVN01 exhaust valve cover for the TE 300 built between 2014 and 2016, in orange, a cover that closes over the exhaust valve control mechanism at the back of the cylinder.
Key Features
- Exhaust valve cover for the Husqvarna TE 300, 2014 to 2016
- Accossato code CVN01, closes over the exhaust valve control mechanism
- Available in orange
- Accossato also lists a second version, CVS01, in blue or black, for this bike
- Same part also listed for the Husqvarna TC 250, TE 250 and the KTM 300EXC
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato shapes the CVN01 to the TE 300's own cylinder, so it seats exactly where this valve mechanism needs it. The single orange finish is the standard choice here, with the separate CVS01 covering blue or black for those who prefer it. A cover that has warped from heat or cracked at the edge is worth replacing promptly.
A Bigger Engine, the Same Small Cover
Stepping up from a 250 to the TE 300 doesn't change how this valve cover is built or fitted, since Accossato shares the same CVN01 across both engines. Checking the cover for cracking as part of a routine clean is a sensible habit for an owner who rides the TE 300 hard. Keeping it clean of built-up residue also makes any early damage easier to spot.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's application list puts the TE 300 built between 2014 and 2016 under the CVN01. The same cover is shared with the Husqvarna TC 250, the TE 250 and the KTM 300EXC, all built around a related exhaust valve system, so an owner of more than one of these bikes can keep a common spare. Matching the exact build year against the list before ordering is, as always, worth the extra check.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the CVN01, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
Scope of Delivery
