DescriptionThe whole story▼

This single-hose kit replaces the hydraulic clutch line on the Ducati Monster 821 built between 2018 and 2020, following the Clutch layout that keeps the same path the factory used between the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder at the gearbox. It is sold separately from Accossato's two brake-line kits for the same bike, since the clutch and brake circuits use different hoses entirely and are not interchangeable between the two jobs.

Key Features

  • Single braided hose for the Monster 821's hydraulic clutch circuit
  • Clutch (C) layout, matching the original hose routing
  • Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
  • Stainless steel fittings as standard, or painted stainless in red, green, blue, black or gold
  • Firmer, more consistent clutch take-up than the stock rubber hose
  • Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses

Construction and Material Quality

The hose is built from a woven stainless braid over the pressure line, with the end fitting available either bare or painted in red, green, blue, black or gold stainless to match whichever brake kit is fitted alongside it. Because only one hose is needed for the clutch circuit, the fitting job is quick, and the full twenty-shade sheath range still applies to this single-hose application.

Why Upgrade Just the Clutch Line

A hydraulic clutch hose is subject to the same slight expansion under pressure that a brake hose shows, so over time the lever can develop a softer, less precise take-up point even while the brakes feel fine. Swapping this one hose for braided stainless keeps that take-up point consistent, which particularly suits riders who work the clutch often in traffic or on technical roads where precise, repeatable control at the lever matters more than outright stopping power.

Fitment and Compatibility

This clutch hose fits the Ducati Monster 821 sold between 2018 and 2020. The same bike takes a three-hose Full-length brake kit (AGA0191) or a three-hose Over-the-mudguard brake kit (AGA0192) for the front and rear brakes, both ordered separately from this clutch line, and either can be combined with it when the whole hydraulic system is being upgraded at once.

Road Approval

Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

1 braided hose for the Clutch layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
