Öhlins publishes an exploded view for every unit, and each position in it has its own number.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 03250-02

Function

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous. Service parts make the difference between a damper that is rebuilt and one that is replaced. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece.

Why the Original

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 03250-02 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Where a part supersedes an older number, Öhlins states it in the catalogue. This part comes from the same production line as the components it is fitted to.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03250-02

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03250-02_761e2d4d-8cfd-44c8-880e-c70864e6cc3f.png?v=1788874706
