Öhlins and Forged Wheels
The RF specification adds electronically managed Öhlins suspension and forged aluminium rims to the standard RSV4. The wheels alone change how quickly the bike turns more than any other single component on the list.
Limited Annual Production
Aprilia builds the RF in restricted numbers each year with its own livery. It is the version most likely to be found on a circuit and the one whose owners are most particular about what goes on the handlebar.
Shaped for the RSV4
This housing is profiled for the superbike chassis rather than for Aprilia's range in general, which produces a cleaner cable run behind a fairing that leaves very little room around the clip-ons.
Both Parts Renewed
The switch block sits inside the throttle assembly, so replacement covers both. This unit is a single machined body doing that job, plugged into the motorcycle's own connector.
Changing Traction Mid-Corner
APRC allows the intervention level to be stepped down while moving, which riders do as a session progresses. Those controls are part of the housing being replaced, and their feel under a glove is what makes the adjustment reliable.
Four Anodised Finishes
Black, red, blue and titanium. Against the RF's specific paint, black keeps the cockpit quiet and titanium picks up the fork tops without trying to match their gold.
Milled From One Billet
With sealed contacts inside. There is no clipped cover to work loose under a V4's vibration and no seam for a pressure washer to exploit after a hot session.
