DescriptionThe whole story▼

For a newer Yamaha MT-125, built between 2020 and 2026, that is ridden in every season, Accossato offers the rear pad in its Sintered (ST) compound as the AGPP99ST. According to the manufacturer, the sintered material keeps a high, constant grip level at low and high temperatures and grips well on a wet disc. It suits riders who commute through winter, ride in rain and want a rear brake that behaves the same whatever the conditions.

Key Features

  • Rear pads for the Yamaha MT-125, 2020 to 2026
  • Article AGPP99ST in the Sintered (ST) compound
  • Accossato: steady grip from cold to hot and on a wet disc
  • For all-weather commuting and winter riding
  • Two pads per box, the set for the rear caliper
  • The AGPP99 plate also comes in OR
  • MT-125s from 2014 to 2019 use the AGPA173 rear pad
  • Offered for track and competition use; no German ABE

Construction and Material Quality

The sintered AGPP99 is described by Accossato as keeping a high and stable grip level across temperatures and holding up well on a wet disc. On the rear of a small bike ridden through winter, that consistency gives the rider confidence. Accossato's aims of slow wear and reduced fade apply.

Winter on a Small Bike

Riding a 125 through winter takes commitment. The roads are wet, cold and often dirty, and a light bike is more affected by crosswinds and spray. Using both brakes smoothly is important on slippery surfaces, and a sintered rear pad helps by responding consistently even when the disc is wet. Winter also wears pads faster, as grit and salt act as an abrasive. Check the rear pad every few weeks, rinse the caliper after salty rides and keep the disc clean. Make sure the brake light works, as visibility matters more in the dark months. Good gloves help too, since cold fingers make smooth braking harder.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato fits the AGPP99 to the rear of the Yamaha MT-125 from 2020 to 2026. Bikes from 2014 to 2019 need the AGPA173, and all years use the AGPA101 at the front. One box covers the rear caliper. Clean the piston, check the disc and inspect the fluid. The DK245 disc is also listed for this model. Pump the pedal until firm and bed in gradually.

Road Approval

We have no German ABE or approval documents for the AGPP99ST, so the pad is sold for track and competition use.
