Sold separately for riders who already own the Spark collector, or who want to change the character of an existing system without replacing the pipework.

Key Features

Force Evo titanium silencer with carbon end cap, supplied complete with its heat shield.

Approved for World Supersport competition.

The rib along the titanium case is structural as well as visual — it stiffens a thin-walled shell.

Bolts to Spark's R9 collectors; not a stand-alone slip-on for the standard exhaust.

Titanium sleeve, perforated inner tube and inner end cap.

Made by Spark in Mantova, Italy.

Build Quality & Materials

The Force Evo is the more restrained of Spark's two current race silencers. Its case is titanium with a single rib running the length and converging into the carbon end cap, and everything inside — the perforated tube, the inner cap — is titanium too, which is where the weight advantage over a steel-cased muffler comes from rather than from the visible shell alone.

The heat shield is included, and it is not cosmetic. On a race bike with rearsets, the shield is what stops a boot making contact with a component running at exhaust temperature. Spark supplies it as part of this group precisely because fitting the silencer without it is not a sensible option.

Performance & Sound

Force Evo is the silencer Spark chooses when a series enforces a decibel ceiling. On the R9 Supersport system it contributes to the 102 dB at 5,000 rpm and 103 dB at 6,000 rpm Spark measures for the complete assembly without a dB killer. Fitted to a different collector those numbers will differ, so treat them as the system figure rather than a property of the silencer alone.

Fitment & Compatibility

Designed for Spark's R9 collectors GYA8801 and GYA8802. It is not a slip-on for the standard Yamaha exhaust — the inlet is sized for Spark pipework. If you want a quieter option, Spark builds the same silencer in a 400 mm case as G00SI44T.

Road Approval

No EC approval. This silencer group is a competition component and is supplied for closed-circuit use.

Specifications

Part number: GYA8801ST

Type: Silencer group with heat shield

Design: Force Evo

Material: Titanium case, carbon end cap

Heat shield: included

Homologation: WSSP-approved competition part

Fits: Spark R9 collectors GYA8801 / GYA8802

Fitment: Yamaha R9 (2025-2026)

Road approval: None — track use only

Manufacturer: Spark Exhaust Technology, Mantova, Italy
