The JP MJ 001 is the Memjet EVO power module for the Desert X, a preset fuel module that corrects the mixture without anything being written to the motorcycle's own electronics.

A Twenty One Inch Front
Ducati built a genuine adventure bike around the 937 cc twin, with a long-travel chassis and a fuelling map softened for loose surfaces.
The Lambda Sensor Keeps Working
At small openings the controller still trims the mixture against the oxygen sensor, which means the module works alongside that loop rather than fighting it. At larger openings the sensor drops out and the module's correction is what remains.
What Changes at the Bottom
The first eighth of throttle travel is where a lean map shows itself, as a hesitation or a jerk when picking up drive. That transition is where a module earns its money on almost every motorcycle.
What Riders Report
Cleaner pick-up from a closed throttle, less hunting at a steady speed and a general sense that the engine is less reluctant below four thousand. Those three come up again and again.
Two Products, One Catalogue
JetPrime sells this alongside a programmable unit at a considerably higher price. The choice is between a curve somebody else worked out and a curve the owner works out themselves.
What Is Supplied
The module and a harness made for one motorcycle. The owner supplies twenty minutes, a cable tie and somewhere sensible to put it.
Winter Storage
Nothing about the module objects to a cold garage and there is no battery in it. It draws no current when the ignition is off and needs no attention over a layup.
