DescriptionThe whole story▼
Three noise readings, all published, all at 5,500 rpm: 105.5 dB for the Evolution Line with no insert, 103.2 with the standard insert, and 100.4 with this link pipe fitted. A rider who knows their circuit's limit can pick a configuration off that list before spending anything.
Key Features
- Lowers the Evolution Line from 103.2 dB to 100.4 at 5,500 rpm
- Titanium link pipe with an integrated resonator
- An additional noise insert with honeycomb mesh is included
- Keeps the power and torque gains of the system it goes into
- 3 kg lighter than standard as part of the complete system
- Remapping is mandatory
- Closed course competition use only
What It Needs, and a Caveat
This pipe is built around the muffler and headers of the Evolution Line (Carbon) for these machines. That system is a separate purchase, and it does not appear in the Akrapovic price list this shop buys from — the Evolution Line listed for the 2021 to 2026 RSV4 is the titanium version, which is a different system.
Anyone whose Aprilia already wears the carbon Evolution Line is who this is for. Anyone starting from scratch should confirm that system is obtainable first.
Quieter Without Being Slower
Akrapovic makes a point of it: the pipe complements the Evolution Line without compromising the power and torque gains. That is what a resonator buys over a simple restriction — it cancels a band of sound rather than choking the flow.
Nearly three decibels off a static reading is the difference between passing and being turned away at a good many European circuits.
The Extra Insert
A second noise insert with a honeycomb mesh comes in the box. Between the pipe and the two inserts there are several combinations available, and the published readings let an owner work out which one meets a given limit rather than finding out at the gate.
Three Kilograms
Akrapovic gives the saving as 3 kg — 37.2 per cent — for the complete system with this pipe in it, measured against the standard Aprilia exhaust. That is the figure for the combination, not for the pipe on its own.
The Remap Is Not Negotiable
Akrapovic calls remapping mandatory when this pipe is installed, not merely recommended. Changing the volume and flow path between headers and muffler changes what the engine sees, and the map has to be told.

An Hour on the Bench
Sixty minutes of workshop time. Swapping between the road configuration and this one for a track weekend is realistic, which is much of the point of a dedicated track day pipe.
The 2025 Aprilia V4
Aprilia updated the RSV4 and Tuono V4 for 2025. This pipe covers the current bikes only; the earlier machines take different parts, and the year on the registration document is what decides.
Road Approval
None. This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use.
