DescriptionThe whole story▼

On a light 250 like the KTM RC4R 250, the rear brake is mostly a fine-control tool: a touch on the pedal to settle the bike, a gentle squeeze to hold it on a slope, a careful drag during a U-turn. Accossato's AGPP91 rear pad in the Organic mixture fits the RC4R 250 of model year 2020. It suits owners who want a soft, quiet rear for everyday use and who like the idea of the rear disc lasting a very long time.

Key Features

  • Rear pads AGPP91 for the KTM RC4R 250, 2020
  • Organic mixture, SKU AGPP91OR
  • Accossato promises a long working life and low disc wear
  • Soft, easily metered pedal
  • Quiet during normal riding
  • Comfortable for riders still building confidence
  • Rear plate also made as ST and STMX
  • No ABE on file with us; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes this mixture as long-lasting and gentle on the disc. At the rear of a small sports bike that is used for pleasure and short journeys, those two qualities mean little maintenance and a disc that stays in good condition. The company also states that its pads keep their temperature in check, which reduces fade, and that they stop with authority. The Organic block is bonded to the regular AGPP91 plate.

Fine Control with the Right Foot

Many riders only notice how much they use the rear brake when it behaves badly. A pedal that grabs suddenly makes slow turns nervous and hill starts awkward. A soft, progressive pad avoids that: the bike slows in proportion to the pressure of the foot, and the rider can hold it steady at walking pace with the clutch slipping. On the RC4R 250 the Organic compound provides that calm response, from the first cold press of the day.

Keep chain lube off the rear disc and look at the pad depth every time the chain is adjusted. Top up the reservoir if the level drops, and investigate the cause, since a falling level usually means the pads are wearing down.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato catalogues AGPP91 for the rear of the KTM RC4R 250 in model year 2020. For the front, the listed pad for that year is AGPA96, which Accossato files under RC 250 4R. No Accossato disc is offered for the bike. Compare old and new pads before fitting.

Road Approval

AGPP91OR has no ABE or German approval mark that we hold. It is sold for competition use.
