DescriptionThe whole story▼
If the drop-down sun visor of your Spartan GT no longer stays up, or slides down by itself over bumps, the mechanism that operates it is the first suspect. FX7050P replaces it: SUNVISOR MECANISM in Shark's list, MECANISME PARE SOLEIL in French.
Key Features
- Genuine Shark part FX7050P
- Sun visor mechanism
- For the Spartan GT and Spartan GT Carbon
- Black, or the code KMA
- Listed weight 10 g
Care
Road dust gets into the slider over time. Keep the mechanism dry, rinse off grit with clear water rather than spraying cleaner into it, and do not grease it, since grease binds dirt. Shark lists a chrome version separately as FX7051P at the same price. The code KMA has no colour name from Shark.
When to replace it
The fit for the Spartan GT and Spartan GT Carbon comes from the number range 70, the one used by the VE70 vents listed for those helmets. Confirm it with the number on the old mechanism. Replace the part once the sun visor slips, jams halfway, or the slider feels loose.
