The V2 S 890's Throttle Housing Under Pressure
The Panigale V2 S 890 pairs an upgraded chassis with a throttle housing that is still a plastic moulding, the same part that tends to crack first when a bike goes down on that side, exposing the wiring beneath.
A Housing Cut From Solid Ergal
Rather than another plastic part, this housing is machined from a single block of Ergal, giving the Panigale V2 S 890 significantly more resistance to cracking than the original component ever had under impact.
Switch Function Carries Straight Across
The handlebar switch that controls lights and indicators on the stock assembly is built into this housing, so the Panigale V2 S 890 loses none of its electrical function when the cover is fitted in place of the original.
The Electronic Throttle Unit Isn't Part of This
This kit does not include an electronic throttle unit, and the Panigale V2 S 890's own unit stays fitted beneath the new housing, which is designed to work alongside it rather than override its function.
