Wet, essentially unchanged from the standard bike because the differences are in specification rather than in structure.
A Motorcycle to Keep

The Tank Still Breathes
Fuel drawn out has to be replaced by air coming in, so the kit supplies a proper vent fitting. A hose cut short and left open works until the motorcycle lies on its side.
Two Ends, Two Answers
The tank needs a vent and the controller needs a circuit. A kit supplying only one of those leaves half a conversion and its own set of complaints.
Parked in the Sun
A motorcycle standing out on a hot day generates the most vapour it ever will, day after day, with no engine running to clear the bed. It is the fastest route to saturation short of overfilling.
Fitted With an Exhaust
Both jobs happen in the same congested area, so doing them together means the bodywork comes off once rather than twice.
Access to the Linkage
With the vessel gone, the shock, the linkage and the exhaust hanger are all reachable without removing anything else first.
Access Is the Real Benefit
On several Kawasakis the canister sits directly in front of the rear preload adjuster. Removing it turns a job that needs a short tool and good language into one that takes two minutes.
The Weight Is Not the Point
A kilogram and a half changes nothing about how the motorcycle rides. The space, the access and the removal of a component that fails without warning are the actual reasons anybody does this, and they are reason enough.
