DescriptionThe whole story▼
A naked motorcycle has nowhere to hide its details. On the 2025 Streetfighter V4 the front mudguard sits in open air between the fork legs, visible from every angle a bystander will ever look from, and it is one of the few painted plastic panels left on an otherwise very deliberate motorcycle. Replacing it is the smallest change that alters the whole front end.
Key Features
- Direct replacement for the original front mudguard on the standard fork brackets
- Four configurations in 200 Plain weave: clear coat, matt, satin and raw
- Autoclave-cured laminate, rigid across the unsupported span ahead of the wheel
- Raw carbon costs least and weighs least, because no lacquer is applied over the weave
- Original fasteners, original brackets, no drilling and no spacers
Unsprung, Which Is the Part That Matters
Weight ahead of the steering axis and below the spring has to be accelerated by the fork every time the front wheel crosses a ridge. That is a different category from weight bolted to the frame, and it is the reason a mudguard is worth more than its mass suggests. The saving is measured in a few hundred grams, but those grams are in the one place where the suspension has to move them repeatedly and quickly.
The honest version is that nobody will feel this on a commute. It shows up on a bad road surface taken quickly, where the front settles a fraction sooner between bumps. Treat it as a bonus that arrives free with a decision already taken on appearance.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Streetfighter V4, model years 2025 and 2026, on the original mounting points. It does not fit the 2020-2024 Streetfighter V4, which uses a different mudguard and different fork brackets.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. Treat it as a replacement body panel and confirm the position for your own registration before riding on public roads.
Which Finish Survives the Front Wheel
No panel on the motorcycle takes more stone strike than this one, and that should decide the finish before taste does. Clear coat is the showroom answer and records every impact as a bright chip, because lacquer fractures paler than the weave underneath. Matt absorbs the same damage almost invisibly. Satin lands between them and is the closest match to Ducati's own dark trim.
Raw deserves a serious look here for a reason unrelated to price. There is no lacquer to chip, so the only thing that can be damaged is the carbon itself, and that takes a considerably harder hit. On a motorcycle ridden through real weather, raw is the finish still looking deliberate after three seasons.
