DescriptionThe whole story▼
Plenty of Husqvarna TE 250 owners never enter an event. They load the two-stroke on a Sunday, meet friends at a trail centre and ride loops until the light fades. That steady, sociable kind of riding is what Accossato's Organic front pad AGPA29, SKU AGPA29OR, suits on this bike, which it covers for model years 2014 to 2018. Riders who like a calm, well-measured lever on rocky climbs and slippery switchbacks, and who would like the front rotor to outlast several sets of tyres, will find it a sensible choice.
Key Features
- Front set AGPA29 with Organic friction material
- Husqvarna TE 250, years 2014 to 2018
- Long-lasting and easy on the rotor, according to Accossato
- Measured, gentle bite for rocky switchbacks
- Works from the first loop of the day
- The identical outline comes as ST, STMX and EV1
- No approval documents, competition only
Construction and Material Quality
Two claims define this mixture in Accossato's catalogue: extended performance and restrained disc wear. A TE 250 that spends whole days on trail loops drags its front brake lightly for long stretches, and a gentle pad pays off there by keeping the rotor surface even. The lining is carried on the AGPA29 steel back and needs no adaptation to the original caliper. Accossato adds a note about strong deceleration without excessive heat.
Sunday Loops at a Trail Centre
Loops through a trail centre mix tight turns between trees with short, steep drops. With an Organic front on the TE 250, the first millimetres of lever travel are soft, and bite grows in proportion to the squeeze, so it is easy to hold the bike at walking pace on a loose descent. Riders who spend more time chatting at the van than chasing lap times usually prefer that relaxed character to a harsh, grabby brake.
A quick glance at the pad lining during the lunch stop is a good habit, and the rotor should be kept free of spray lube.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the Husqvarna TE 250, our fitment shows AGPA29 at the front for 2014 through 2018; Accossato's line for this model name starts earlier, but only these years are confirmed in our data. At the rear the brand supplies AGPP80, and DK017 and DK018 are its discs for this machine. Muddy seasons may call for STMX instead. Check the new pads against the ones coming off the TE 250 before fitting.
Road Approval
Neither an ABE nor a test mark for AGPA29OR has reached us, so this set is for off-road competition.
Scope of Delivery
Two front pads with Organic lining, fitting one caliper.
