DescriptionThe whole story▼
Trackdays on a Ninja 650 are common, since the bike's manageable power makes it a popular choice for riders stepping up from a smaller machine onto a bigger circuit, and that step up brings a higher chance of running wide into a gravel trap while judging braking points for the first time. The fairing is what meets the loose stone when that happens. For the Ninja 650 built in 2017 and 2018, Accossato's TP114 crash pads are built for that moment.
Key Features
- Fairing crash pads for the Kawasaki Ninja 650, 2017 to 2018
- Accossato part TP114, two pads in the pack, one per side
- CNC-machined aluminium body with a colour-anodised insert
- Insert available in blue, green, black, red, silver or gold
- Optional matching screw cover in the same insert colour
- Fitting may call for drilling the fairing on some applications
- Pairs with the PF052 front axle sliders for the same Ninja 650
- No German ABE on file; listed for racing and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato CNC-machines the TP114 body from aluminium and fits a coloured anodised insert that carries through the metal rather than sitting as paint on the surface. A matching screw cover is available if preferred. The pack holds two pads, one for each side, and whether further mounting hardware beyond the pads is included isn't stated by Accossato, so no claim is made either way here.
Stepping Up to a Bigger Circuit
Moving from a 125 or 300 onto a Ninja 650 for a first proper trackday changes the braking distances and cornering speeds a rider has to judge, and misjudging either tends to end the same way: a run wide onto the kerbing or into a gravel trap, with the fairing taking the scrape as the bike slides to a stop. Pads fitted beforehand turn that mistake into a cheap repair rather than a cracked panel, which matters when several sessions are still left to ride that day. Ask us before ordering whether your particular Ninja 650 needs the fairing drilled.
Fitment and Compatibility
This TP114 listing covers the Ninja 650 built in 2017 and 2018 only; later and earlier versions may differ, so confirm your exact year. The matching PF052 front axle sliders are listed separately for the same Ninja 650 across a wider 2017 to 2020 span.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE or comparable approval paperwork for the TP114, so Inter-Pace offers this pair for racing and competition use on the Ninja 650, not for ordinary road use.
Scope of Delivery
