This is Accossato's EV2 racing front pad for the KTM 690 SMC R from 2021 to 2024. Accossato calls EV2 a top racing compound. The latest SMC R is a capable base for competition, and owners who race it in national or regional supermoto series need a front pad that can handle a full weekend of practice, qualifying and races. EV2 is designed for that. It suits the rider who spends race weekends in the paddock rather than on the road, and who wants the front brake to be as sharp in the final lap as in the first.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato positions EV2 as its top racing compound. The company designs its pads for strong braking, controlled heat and slow wear, and EV2 applies that to competition. On the newest SMC R, the pad uses a steel carrier cut for the current front caliper.
From Practice to the Final Lap
A supermoto race weekend is long: free practice to learn the track, qualifying to find the limit, then several races with a full grid into the first hairpin. The front brake on a current SMC R has to keep delivering from the first session to the last lap. EV2 is made for that. For track days and learning, EV1 is the more suitable choice; ZXC is the ceramic racing alternative.
Model Year Matters
This pad is for 2021 and later SMC R bikes only. Owners of earlier bikes need AGPA112. Check your bike before ordering, and bed the pads in during the first practice session.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists this front pad for the SMC 690 R from 2021 to 2024. Earlier SMC and SMC R bikes take AGPA112 instead. One box covers the single front caliper. For the rear, Accossato offers pad AGPP91, and the DK209 disc is also available for this supermoto.
Road Approval
This pad is sold exclusively for racing and competition, as no German ABE or test papers are available to us.
