Sand tracks turn the Husqvarna FC 350 into a different motorcycle. The ground gives way under the rear tyre, every turn becomes a deep bowl and the engine has to pull hard all the way round the lap, which puts the clutch to work far more than on hard-pack. For the FC 350 from 2016 to 2021, Accossato's C7284 is the folding clutch lever to match, cut from Ergal 7075 in Italy. Its blade is long enough for four fingers and hinges forward when the bike goes down.

Construction and Material Quality
With four fingers on the lever, the pull is spread across the whole hand rather than resting on one or two fingertips, and Accossato has shaped the C7284 accordingly: a long blade, the counterpart to its shorter three-finger brake lever. The blade connects to a dark base through the joint that lets it fold. Both pieces are CNC-machined in Italy from solid Ergal 7075, a high-strength aluminium alloy chosen because Accossato wants its levers strong, light and reliable. Blade colours are black, blue or orange.
Momentum in the Sand
In deep sand, speed is what keeps a motocross bike on top of the surface. Let it drop and the front wheel ploughs, the rear digs and the FC 350 wallows. Experienced sand riders therefore carry more speed than feels natural, stand up, keep their weight back and use the clutch to help the engine through each turn, pulling it in briefly as the revs sag and letting it out again to pick the bike up. Over a long moto the left hand repeats that movement hundreds of times, and in the closing laps the hands are often the first to feel it.
Crashes in sand are usually soft, but they bury things. The bike drops into a rut, the handlebar digs in and the lever is pushed into the ground with the machine's weight behind it, while sand works its way into every gap. A lever that can pivot forward out of the way stands a better chance of coming back up whole, and the C7284 is built that way. Set it back into position, knock the sand off, and after most small falls it should be ready for the next turn. Some crashes will still be too much for it, so a look at the joint after a day in the sand is time well spent.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato matches the C7284 to the Husqvarna FC 350 from 2016 to 2021, where it takes over from the stock lever at the original clutch mount. The 2014 and 2015 bikes and the 2022 model are listed with the C7283 instead, so check the model year before ordering. On the right side, the B8283 folding brake lever is listed for every FC 350 from 2014 to 2022. Brake and clutch lever can be matched in black, blue or orange.
Road Approval
No German ABE exists on record for the C7284. It is meant for motocross circuits and off-road competition.
