Riders who move to a Streetfighter V4 S usually notice the brakes first. A front end this responsive reacts to the very first moment of the squeeze, and the difference between a smooth stop and an abrupt one is decided right there. The Accossato EDF099 is a machined aluminium brake lever for the Streetfighter V4 S, listed from 2020 to 2026, mounted on the original master cylinder, with adjustable reach and three blade lengths.

Construction and Material Quality
The EDF099 is shaped from solid aluminium on computer-controlled machines and then anodised, so the hub comes out black and the blade in the colour you ordered. Blade and hub form one continuous part without a folding joint, and there is no second pivot to absorb part of your input before it reaches the master cylinder. The adjuster sits in the hub, close to the pivot, and sets how far the blade stands from the grip of the Streetfighter V4 S.
Squeeze, Don't Grab
A grab is a sudden, full application that loads the front tyre before the fork has compressed; a squeeze builds pressure over a fraction of a second, letting the fork settle and the tyre take the load. A progressive squeeze usually stops the bike sooner in the end, because a loaded tyre can take more braking force. Lever position has a lot to do with it. If the blade is far from the grip, the fingers arrive with speed and tend to grab; if it is close, they are already in contact and can build pressure gradually. On the Streetfighter V4 S, set the EDF099 so that the blade touches your fingers when the hand is relaxed on the grip, then practise progressive stops from moderate speed. The standard blade is the natural starting point; choose the short one only if you already brake with two fingers.
Fitment and Compatibility
On Accossato's list, the Streetfighter V4 S appears with its own reference for the years 2020 to 2026, and the EDF099 goes on in place of the original lever at the stock master cylinder. Seven model years is a long span, so if your V4 S is a late one, hold the product photos against your own lever before you order. A clutch lever for this bike is not on Accossato's list.
Road Approval
Accossato's lever has no German ABE on record and is sold for track use.
