DescriptionThe whole story▼
Pink is the least common mirror colour on a race grid, which is exactly why some riders choose it. Shark builds this Iridium Pink shield under part number VZ67030P for its open-face Skwal Jet, Skwal i3 Jet and Skwal Jet Cup; our SKU for the pink version is VZ67030PPNKTU.
Key Features
- Iridium Pink mirror, named that way in Shark's Range Book 2027
- Long shield profile, mounted flush with the shell
- Vortex generator and side locking as described by Shark for this visor family
- Prepared for a Max Vision Pinlock with adjustable tension; insert VZ67005P
- Anti-scratch treated
About this tint
Seen from the pit wall, the helmet shows a pink reflective face and hides the rider's eyes. Seen from inside, the iridium layer throws back some of the light, which helps on a hot, cloudless day when sunlight flares off the kerbs and the track surface. Shark does not grade the pink mirror as stronger or weaker than its other colours, so read the colour as a styling choice.
It works best where pink or magenta already appears in the decor, on the leathers or on the bike, and it stands out sharply on a plain black helmet.
Road or track
Shark's classification is clear: the Range Book 2027 lists the pink iridium visor on page 40 as "racing use only", along with the other iridium colours and the dark smoke shield. It is not released by Shark for the road. Keep it for the circuit and plan a clear shield for anything else.
Where this part belongs
The helmets come from Shark's compatibility collection for Skwal Jet and Skwal i3 Jet visors on shark-helmets.com, a first-hand manufacturer source. It lists the Skwal Jet Cup next to the Skwal i3 Jet and the Skwal Jet, and those three are the only helmets we attach to this part.
Scope of delivery
One pink iridium visor, EAN 3664836892863, 186 g according to the supplier. Shark sells the matching Pinlock 70 insert separately as VZ67005P; we do not state that one comes in the box.
Before you order
A track day in changeable weather is where the pink shield meets its limit: when clouds close in or rain arrives, a mirrored face shows you too little. For those sessions Shark offers the clear VZ67015P in the same visor family, listed for all users. PNK marks the pink colour within VZ67030P; the other colours there are Silver, Rainbow, Red, Gold and Blue.
Keeping it serviceable
The pink coating is the delicate part of this visor. Use lukewarm water and a soft cloth, give squashed insects a minute under a wet towel before wiping, and leave solvents and household glass cleaner on the shelf. A padded sleeve keeps the mirrored face away from zips and buckles in a rucksack.
