Öhlins machines the eye from the same billet as the body on many units.

Key Features

Dimension B 65 mm

Öhlins part number 21120-17

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension C 26 mm

Dimension A 14 mm

Function

This one measures 14 mm, 65 mm, 26 mm, and those figures are what separate it from the neighbouring numbers. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping. A worn end eye bearing is a common source of rear-end vagueness that gets blamed on damping. The spherical bearing in an end eye lets the damper follow the linkage without side load.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 21120-17. Check dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 65 mm, dimension c 26 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. A worn end eye bearing is a common source of rear-end vagueness that gets blamed on damping. End caps seal the unit and carry the adjusters; they are matched to the tube they close.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21120-17

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 65 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21120-17_1c2e1b43-b1bf-4ebe-a33e-c248ed3ffbdf.png?v=1788879506
