For the K9 to L6 GSX-R 1000, the JP PD SU019 replaces the right-hand switch with a milled Ergal unit on a universal clamp, in black or titanium.

Eight Years Without a Major Change
The K9 arrived in 2009 and Suzuki left the fundamentals alone until 2017. In an era when rivals were rebuilding their superbikes every three years that looked like neglect, and in retrospect it produced a motorcycle that was thoroughly sorted, comparatively cheap and enormously popular with club racers.
The Club Racer's Default
More of these have been converted for the circuit than almost any other litre bike. They are affordable to buy, cheap to crash, mechanically robust and supported by an aftermarket that has had fifteen years to mature. That is also why their switchgear is so often past its best.
A Decade and a Half of Thumbs
The oldest examples are now approaching twenty years old. The moulded housing does not break, but the plastic hardens, the clip joint develops play and the buttons that sit across it start to feel spongy. A milled body has no joint in that plane at all.
Either Clamp Geometry
Brake upgrades are close to universal on a bike of this age and purpose, and aftermarket radial cylinders rarely share Suzuki's bolt spacing. The universal plate takes both, which keeps the order of modifications from mattering.
Two Finishes
Black and titanium for this generation. Black is what most track-prepared bikes get, on the reasoning that the cockpit should not draw the eye. Titanium is the option that shows a machined component is there without announcing it.
Shared Across Three Models
The same part number fits the 600 and the 750 of the same era. That is Suzuki's doing rather than a compromise on JetPrime's side: the GSX-R range kept one right-hand interface across all three capacities for most of a decade.
