Jets meter fixed bleed flow and are sized in tenths of a millimetre. A check valve holds pressure in one direction and opens in the other; a worn one lets damping bleed away. The seat face has to be flat enough for the first shim to seal against it.

Genuine Service Part

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 03077-30. Check dimension a 12 mm, dimension b 30 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Öhlins uses a piston band rather than metal-to-metal contact, which is what keeps the bore intact. The piston carries the shim stacks and meters the oil through its ports.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03077-30

Category: Pistons

Dimension A: 12 mm

Dimension B: 30 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03077-30_1b11de71-0744-4431-95b6-ad8cbcfd79d9.png?v=1788871950
