Service parts make the difference between a damper that is rebuilt and one that is replaced.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Finish: black

Öhlins part number 21717-04

Function

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Where a part supersedes an older number, Öhlins states it in the catalogue. This part comes from the same production as the components it goes into. Replacement parts come from the same production as the components they go into.

Genuine Service Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21717-04 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Öhlins supports its units with individual parts rather than only with complete assemblies. Individual parts let a workshop replace only what is worn.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21717-04

Category: Service Parts

Finish: Black

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21717-04_8eab1191-5c25-4fec-9fd9-0ade01ce9c51.png?v=1788877705
https://inter-pace.com/en-fj/products/ohlins-ec-motor-unit-assy-front-fork-compression-black-21717-04
