The JP ES 022 plugs into the Monster 1200's side stand connector and takes the switch out of the equation without a single wire being cut anywhere in the loom.

Thirty Years of the Name
Ducati has built Monsters since 1993 and the shape has barely changed. Very few motorcycles have that kind of continuity in the modern market.
An Open Circuit
That is all the electronics see, and they cannot distinguish it from a deployed stand or a broken wire. All three produce identical behaviour.
A Sealed Body
The eliminator is potted rather than open, so the connector stays as protected from water as it was with the original switch fitted.
Five Minutes, Genuinely
The connector sits near the swingarm pivot and needs no bodywork removed on most models. It is the shortest job on any list.
An Organiser's View
Most track day operators would rather not see a sidestand at all, which is one of several reasons it leaves before anything else does.
A Bike That Lives Outside
Everything low and left corrodes first, and the sidestand switch is closer to the road surface than any other electrical component.
No Software Involved
Nothing is flashed, adapted or written to any controller. The part works entirely through the state it presents at the connector, which is why it needs no setup and behaves identically on the first ride and the hundredth.
Refitting for an Inspection
The stand, the bracket and the switch go back on their own fasteners, and nothing needs replacing to do it. Where a periodic test covers the interlock, that is an evening rather than a problem, provided the parts were kept together in the first place.
