DescriptionThe whole story▼
A Tuono 660 running a quick-action throttle, with the supplementary switch block that restores the displaced controls.
Key Features
- Aprilia Tuono 660 (2025–2026)
- For quick-action throttle installations
- Titanium anodised Ergal 7075
- CNC-machined from solid
- Military-specification switch elements
- Pre-wired for the original connector
Why This Part Number Spans Two Sizes
JetPrime uses one supplementary block across the 457 and 660 Tuonos because the mounting and the connector are shared. It is the same component doing the same job on two closely related motorcycles.
Ninety-Five Horsepower
The 660 twin retuned toward the midrange, behind wide bars and no fairing. It remains the most useful version of the platform for anyone riding on real roads rather than circuits.
A Position Sensor Behind the Grip
The Tuono is ride-by-wire, so a quick-action kit changes the mechanical ratio ahead of a sensor rather than a cable pull. The ECU sees its whole range across a smaller movement of the wrist.
The Conversion's Consequence
Fitting the kit generally displaces the original switch block. This unit gives the functions a mounting and wires them to the motorcycle's own connector.
Titanium Only
One anodised finish, chosen mid-conversion to match the throttle hardware. It is a functional component rather than a cosmetic one.
Sealed to Military Standard
Elements enclosed inside the machined body. A naked middleweight gets ridden through weather that a faired bike waits out, and the housing is the only barrier the contacts have.
Rigid Because It Is Milled
Cut from one block of Ergal. Nothing deflects when a control is pressed hard against wind pressure, which is when a rider most needs to know an input went in.
Supplementary, Explicitly
It mounts alongside rather than instead of. This is the most frequent misunderstanding attached to the part and it is worth confirming before ordering.
Aprilia's Plug
Pre-wired, so nothing is spliced anywhere. The installation comes off as cleanly as it went on when the bike is sold.
