DescriptionThe whole story▼

Engineered specifically for the BMW S1000RR K67, the IMA Special Parts Racing STK triple clamp delivers a measurable improvement in front-end feel, braking stability and corner entry precision — whether you are chasing lap times on track or demanding the last word in road performance. The STK variant retains the original ignition lock housing, making it a seamless fit for road-registered machines and STK-class race bikes alike.

Key Features

  • FEM-calculated structure using Finite Element Method analysis ensures maximum rigidity exactly where the chassis demands it, with no unnecessary mass added elsewhere.
  • 7075 Ergal aluminium construction combines high tensile strength with an ultralight profile, reducing unsprung weight and sharpening steering response.
  • Adjustable offset from 24 mm to 32 mm allows precise geometry tuning to suit rider preference, tyre choice and circuit characteristics.
  • Optimised braking stability translates directly into confident, consistent turn-in — the front end stays planted under hard braking rather than deflecting under load.
  • Titanium fasteners throughout keep the assembly corrosion-resistant and as light as possible without compromising clamping torque.
  • Integrated ignition lock housing retains the OEM key barrel, making the STK variant fully compliant for road use and STK regulations.

Design and Construction

IMA Special Parts developed the Racing STK triple clamp using Finite Element Method simulation to map stress distribution across the entire component under real-world braking and cornering loads. The result is a part that is stiffer in the directions that matter — lateral and torsional — while avoiding the mass penalty of over-engineered conventional billet clamps. The 7075 Ergal aluminium alloy chosen for the body is the same grade used in aerospace and high-end motorsport applications: stronger than 6061 and significantly lighter than steel, it provides the strength-to-weight ratio demanded by a 200-plus bhp superbike.

The adjustable offset range of 24 mm to 32 mm is a genuine setup tool, not a marketing claim. Moving the forks forward in the clamp quickens the steering and increases front grip feel; moving them back adds stability at high speed. Having this range available on a single component means you can dial in geometry at the track without swapping parts.

The STK Variant — Road and Regulated Race Use

The STK designation refers specifically to the ignition lock housing machined into this triple clamp. Where the full race version deletes the ignition barrel to save grams, the STK retains it — essential for any machine that needs to meet STK homologation rules or simply remain road-legal. If you want the precision and rigidity of an aftermarket racing triple clamp without removing your ignition system, this is the correct choice.

Please note: the fork tube diameter must be specified in the order notes at the time of purchase so that the clamp is configured to the correct bore.

Fitment and Compatibility

The IMA Special Parts Racing STK triple clamp is designed and manufactured exclusively for the BMW S1000RR K67 covering model years 2019 through 2026. It is not compatible with earlier S1000RR generations (K46 or K10).
