DescriptionThe whole story▼

Born on the track and shaped by Superbike heritage, the Fullsix Carbon "SBK" shock guard cover for the Ducati Panigale 1199/R/S transforms a functional component into a statement of intent. Precision-crafted from 100% genuine carbon fibre and finished to a standard that rivals — and arguably surpasses — the original Ducati carbon programme, this cover is designed exclusively for machines fitted with a TTX shock absorber. Please note: this cover is compatible with TTX shocks only.

Key Features

  • Road-legal with ABE approval — no individual registration required for street use.
  • 100% genuine carbon fibre construction: ultralight, rigid and impervious to fatigue under race conditions.
  • Available in two authentic weave patterns: 200 Plain (matching Ducati's factory carbon aesthetic) and 245 Twill (a pronounced, motorsport-inspired weave).
  • Four surface finishes — Glossy, Matt, RAW and Satin — letting you match or contrast your Panigale's existing carbon or bodywork.
  • Direct plug-and-play fitment replaces the OEM part with no drilling, cutting or modification.
  • UV-stable and weather-resistant: the finish will not fade, blister or delaminate through seasons of road or track use.
  • Shields the TTX shock absorber from stone strikes, road debris and contamination without adding meaningful weight.

Design, Finish and Heritage

Fullsix has built its reputation supplying carbon components to World Superbike teams, and the "SBK" designation on this cover is not decorative — it reflects a lineage of parts developed under genuine race-programme pressures. The result is a component that carries the visual authority of factory carbon with the dimensional accuracy that only a specialist manufacturer can deliver.

The 200 Plain weave mirrors the classic Ducati factory carbon pattern: a tight, uniform grid that reads as refined rather than aggressive, integrating seamlessly with OEM carbon trim on the 1199/R/S. The 245 Twill weave, with its larger, more dynamic diagonal pattern, suits builds that prioritise visual drama and a more assertive race aesthetic.

Surface finish is equally considered. Glossy carbon catches light with depth and movement; Matt delivers a contemporary, understated look at home on both road and paddock; Satin sits between the two, offering a soft sheen that avoids the formality of full gloss. RAW — untreated carbon — is the choice for riders intending a custom respray or individual protective coating.

Construction and Protection

Each cover is produced in-house by Fullsix using aerospace-grade carbon fibre, laid up and cured to maintain consistent wall thickness and surface quality across every variant. The component slots directly in place of the factory shock guard with the mounting points and profile engineered to OEM tolerances, so fitment is straightforward for any competent home mechanic.

In service, the cover deflects stone chips, brake dust and road grime away from the TTX shock body and seals — debris that, over time, causes premature seal wear and contamination of the shock's fluid. On track, where stones ejected from a front tyre can carry serious velocity, the protection is equally valuable.

Available Finishes

  • Glossy: high-gloss lacquer for a deep, luminous racing appearance.
  • Matt: flat, sophisticated finish with a purposeful racing character.
  • RAW: untreated carbon surface, ideal for custom finishing or personalised protective coatings.
  • Satin: a mid-point between matt and gloss — elegant, subtle and versatile.

This cover is engineered specifically for the following motorcycles fitted with a TTX shock absorber. It will not fit machines with a standard OEM shock unit.
