DescriptionThe whole story▼
Owners who use a Suzuki GSX-S1000 for the daily commute ask a lot of the rear brake: filtering through traffic, holding the bike on a slope at the lights, trickling into a parking space. AGPP88 in the Organic (OR) mixture is Accossato's rear pad for the GSX-S1000 from 2015 to 2026. It suits riders who spend a lot of time in town and want a quiet, gentle rear pad that looks after the disc through the working week.

- Rear pads for the Suzuki GSX-S1000, 2015 to 2026

- Accossato says it performs for longer and limits disc wear
- Good for city riding and slow-speed control
- Runs quietly in stop-and-go traffic
- Front pad AGPA106 listed for this model
- Discs DK234 and DK251 in the Accossato range
- No German approval; offered for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of Organic focuses on longevity and a kind treatment of the disc. For a rear brake that is used constantly at low speed, that is a practical combination. Accossato also points out that its pads keep heat under control, limiting fade, and deliver solid retardation.
Commuting on a Big Naked
A GSX-S1000 in rush-hour traffic spends most of the time below walking pace or at modest speed. Rear-brake control makes that easier: a light touch on the pedal keeps the chassis settled while you pick a line between cars. An organic pad responds smoothly in that low-speed range, even when it is cold, and generally does so quietly. Check the rear pad thickness when you check the chain, as the two are close together, and keep chain lube off the disc. After replacing the pads, press the pedal repeatedly until it firms up before you ride away. Give the fresh set a handful of soft stops on a quiet side street, so the pad surface can settle against the disc before the next busy morning in traffic.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPP88 is listed by Accossato for the GSX-S 1000 from 2015 to 2026. The bike has one rear caliper, which one box covers completely. For the front, Accossato lists AGPA106, and the discs DK234 and DK251 are named for the GSX-S1000. For this rear pad Accossato also offers Sintered.
Road Approval
AGPP88OR has no ABE or German certificate on file with us; we therefore offer it for racing use.
