The GKA8825T is designed as a full replacement system, not a simple slip-on retrofit. Replacing the entire stock exhaust from header to silencer outlet means the gains in throttle response and mid-range pull are felt from the moment you pull away in traffic, not just at the top of the rev range. The stainless steel header resists corrosion through wet winters and punishing track sessions in equal measure, while the titanium silencer keeps unsprung and overall weight to a minimum.
Sound and Versatility
With the db-killer in place, the system produces approximately 102 dB at 5,500 rpm — a noticeable step up from stock but still manageable for everyday use. Remove the db-killer for track days and the MotoGP character of the exhaust note becomes immediately apparent. Switching between the two configurations takes minutes and requires no tools beyond those supplied in the mounting kit.
