DescriptionThe whole story▼
Washer 8/11/2.5, Öhlins part number 01652-01. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them.
Key Features
- Dimension C 2.5 mm
- Dimension B 11 mm
- Original Öhlins service part
- Öhlins part number 01652-01
- Dimension A 8 mm
Function
The published figures are 8 mm, 11 mm, 2.5 mm. Measure the old part against them before ordering. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why. Stainless where corrosion matters, hardened where load matters — the choice is made per position.
Genuine Service Part
Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.
How to Be Sure It Fits
01652-01 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Check dimension a 8 mm, dimension b 11 mm, dimension c 2.5 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Small parts are cheap until one of them is missing on a Friday afternoon. Öhlins lists washers by thickness because it forms part of the internal stack height.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.
