Worn bushings show up as a knock over sharp edges before they show up as a leak. Play at a bushing lets the shaft run off centre and the seal wears unevenly. Guide bushings set the internal alignment of a cartridge.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

14704-01 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Check inner diameter 30 mm, outer diameter 10 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Play at the bushing shows up as a knock over sharp bumps. A worn bushing lets the shaft move off centre, and the seal is the next thing to fail.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 14704-01

Category: Bushings

Inner Diameter: 30 mm

Outer Diameter: 10 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/14704-01_ae0bb8ec-0ca2-451f-9ee6-f93f03e81736.png?v=1788878362
