DescriptionThe whole story▼
This is the Öhlins FKR 215, released for the Ducati Panigale V4 as built between 2018 and 2025. This is the least invasive way to fix an underdamped front end on the Panigale V4.
Key Features
- Direct fitment on the Ducati Panigale V4 (2018–2025)
- 120 mm of damper stroke
- Ships with spring See notes
Why This Machine Needs It
Track use raises oil temperature quickly, and a damper that fades takes confidence with it. The 2018–2025 generation kept the same chassis dimensions throughout, so one Öhlins number serves the whole run.
What Changes Inside the Fork
With 120 mm of stroke the damping curve has to do its work in a short distance. Fill specification is 01309, which is part of the setting rather than a detail. Öhlins identifies the spring as See notes. The kit is re-valvable, so a suspension technician can go beyond the click range if needed. Setting front-end support under braking no longer means also changing how quickly the fork returns.
How Öhlins Builds It
Öhlins sets a baseline for each part number on the machine it was developed on, so it works before anything is adjusted. Shafts are hardened and surface-treated so the seal has a consistent surface to run against. Every Öhlins dealer can re-valve the unit, because the shim stack is a documented, serviceable assembly.
About the FKR 200 Range
The standard fork legs, yokes and axle clamps all stay on the motorcycle. The FKR 200 series covers forks that the earlier FKR 100 numbers do not fit. Adjustment is by click at the fork tops, in both directions independently.
Fitment and Compatibility
Öhlins part number FKR 215 is the correct number for the Ducati Panigale V4 as built 2018–2025. Öhlins releases the same number for 5 closely related machines; this listing is the Ducati Panigale V4 version of that fitment. Öhlins notes for this application: Comes with 3 different spring rates: 9.5 ,10 & 10.5N/mm Fits base version with showa forks. *Replaces FKR 115*
Road Approval
Road approval: none for Germany. Öhlins supplies this part without a German type approval for the Ducati Panigale V4, which means it is not covered for use on public roads under StVZO. Track and closed-course use only.
Important Notes
- Fits models with the original Showa fork only.
Fitting and Setup Service
This is not a part to rush. Öhlins recommends installation by an authorised service centre, and we are an authorised Öhlins service centre — fitting, servicing and setup all happen here. Get in touch if you would like the work done with the order.
