The JP ACC KT016 is the ride-by-wire quick throttle listed for the 1290 Super Adventure R, plug-and-play at the connector and finished with a diagnostic reset before the first ride.

Rally Bike With Number Plates
The R keeps the big engine and adds the suspension and the wheels to use it away from tarmac. Riders spend most of their time standing on it.

A Second Opinion Before Buying
Sit on the motorcycle and roll the standard throttle to its stop. If the wrist is still comfortable there, the case for this part is weaker than the marketing suggests.
What the Money Buys
No power, no torque and no lap time on its own. What it buys is a hand that stays where the rider put it through a corner exit and an arm less tired at the end of a session. Whether that is worth it depends on where the riding happens.
Checking It Later
There is no service interval, but the clamp screws are worth a glance whenever the bar is being worked on. Everything else about the part is fit and forget, because there is nothing inside to wear or lubricate.
