DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ACCGP DU020 fits the Streetfighter V4S, matching its semi-active suspension and extra electronics with the GP Series' three-stage adjustable preload and 60-degree stroke, giving a naked already built for both road and occasional track use a throttle that can shift between the two just as easily.
Key Features
- Ducati Streetfighter V4S (2020–2024)
- GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
- Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
- Standard throttle assembly refits at any time
The S Difference, Again
The V4S adds semi-active suspension and a more comprehensive electronics package over the base Streetfighter V4, aimed at riders who want the chassis to adapt itself between road comfort and track-day sharpness. A throttle whose preload can also be adjusted keeps that same adaptability consistent from the suspension through to the rider's own hand.
Track Days on a Road Bike
A V4S owner who takes the bike onto a circuit occasionally rather than committing to a dedicated trackbike needs the throttle's behaviour to hold steady lap after lap, where the preload's firmest external stage gives a consistent resistance that does not drift as the session goes on.
Back to Road Mode
The same owner riding home afterwards, or simply using the bike day to day, benefits from softening the preload back to a lighter stage, reducing the effort needed for the constant small throttle adjustments that ordinary road riding demands far more of than a circuit lap does.
A Short Stroke for a Fast Engine
The V4 engine underneath the V4S responds quickly to whatever the throttle asks of it, and a 60-degree rotation to reach full opening leaves less room for an imprecise input than the standard long-stroke throttle, which matters more on an engine this responsive than it would on a gentler one.
Suspension and Throttle, Same Logic
The semi-active suspension already adjusts itself to road conditions and rider input without the rider manually intervening every time, and giving the throttle its own externally adjustable preload extends that same logic to the one part of the bike the suspension system cannot reach.
Still Entirely Reversible
Despite the deeper electronics integration across the V4S, the GP Series throttle remains a mechanical, plug and play part that can be removed with the factory unit refitted exactly as it was, leaving the decision to keep the shorter stroke entirely up to the rider.
