DescriptionThe whole story▼
A slide or low-side does not have to write off your Panigale V2 955's tank — not when these Feel Racing carbon tank protectors are in place. Shaped specifically for the WorldSSP Ducati Panigale V2 955 (2020-2024), part FR.495.115.C, they sit flush against both sides of the tank and absorb contact with the asphalt so the fuel cell beneath them does not have to. Lightweight, race-bred, and purpose-built for SSP and trackday riders who want proper protection without compromising the machine's weight or appearance.
Key Features
- Left and right carbon fibre side tank protectors, supplied as a matched pair for complete coverage
- Carbon fibre construction keeps added mass to an absolute minimum — ideal for WorldSSP homologation and serious trackday builds
- Purpose-designed for the Ducati Panigale V2 955 (2020-2024), ensuring a precise, flush fit against the bodywork
- Compatible with both the racing tank (COD. 58613271A) and the standard series tank (COD. 58612931AB)
- Race-oriented aesthetic that complements an SSP or full track livery naturally
Built for Track Duty
Feel Racing develops its WorldSSP accessories around the realities of circuit competition. These tank protectors are not an afterthought — they are a considered damage-control upgrade designed to reduce repair costs and keep a Panigale V2 955 running through a full race weekend or intensive trackday schedule. Where conventional solutions add bulk and mass, the carbon fibre construction here keeps the profile slim and the weight negligible, staying true to the lightweight philosophy that defines SSP racing.
The lateral placement covers the area most likely to make ground contact in a slide or tip-over, acting as a sacrificial layer between the abrasive track surface and the tank itself. Fitting them before a race weekend is straightforward preventive maintenance; fitting them after a first incident is the more expensive lesson.
Fitment and Compatibility
These protectors are designed exclusively for the Ducati Panigale V2 955 WorldSSP, covering the 2020 to 2024 model years. They are confirmed compatible with both available tank configurations:
- Racing tank — COD. 58613271A
- Standard (series) tank — COD. 58612931AB
Mount to a clean, dry surface following standard fitment procedure to ensure reliable adhesion and correct positioning throughout use.
Important Note
Protective parts are designed to reduce damage in the event of a fall or slide. While they significantly lower the risk of tank damage, they cannot guarantee full protection in every scenario. Always fit to a clean surface and follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines.
