That is roughly a ninth of the air through a given area of material, the widest step anywhere in the Sprint Filter programme, and it is the entire price of the retention. Nor is anything here a power part: an element dropped into a series airbox will not add output to a standard Valico DS, and one built to hold air back is the least likely candidate of all. Where a wet ride has turned dust into something stickier, lukewarm water and a mild detergent will shift it; rinse until the water comes away clear. Drying happens in open air and takes as long as it takes — a radiator, a hot air gun or a flame would finish the element for good — and it is refitted dry and untreated.
