The JP ES 011 removes the side stand interlock from the Panigale 1199 R's decision making, which matters on a machine with no stand fitted and nothing to interlock with.

An Open Circuit
That is all the electronics see, and they cannot distinguish it from a deployed stand or a broken wire. All three produce identical behaviour.
Note It Somewhere
An eliminator is invisible to anybody not looking for one, and the motorcycle then behaves in a way the manual does not describe.
Not a Performance Part
There is no weight worth mentioning and nothing that affects how the motorcycle rides. It removes a fault or enables a removal.
A Straight Answer
The controller wants a definite state rather than a measurement, which is why a properly made eliminator works and an improvised bridge frequently does not.
Fitted in the Same Evening
Most owners do this alongside a plate removal and a set of race levers, because all three come off a road bike in the same order.
Nothing Is Cut
The eliminator plugs into the connector the switch used, so the loom stays exactly as Ducati built it. That is what makes refitting the standard switch a two-minute job rather than a wiring repair somebody has to unpick later.
The Connector Position
It sits low and forward on the left, generally reachable once a belly pan or a side panel is off, and occasionally without removing anything at all. Whatever the model, the eliminator should be tied up rather than left where the chain run can reach it.
