The JP MJ 001 is the plug-and-play fuel module for the RS 660: a curve worked out for that engine, supplied with the harness the motorcycle needs.

A Parallel Twin With a V4's Bore
The 659 cc twin shares its cylinder dimensions with one bank of the RSV4, which is why it revs like a small four rather than like a typical parallel twin.
Constant Throttle Surging
A lean cruise setting produces a slight hunting at steady speeds that riders learn to ignore. It is the most common complaint about modern fuel injection and it is the thing a fuel module is best placed to address.
The Original Controller Stays in Charge
Ignition timing, the rev limiter, traction control, the riding modes and every safety strategy remain exactly where they were. The module has no access to any of it and no interest in it.
The Standard Electronics Are Untouched
No parameter is written, no memory is cleared and no adaptation is reset. That is the difference between adding a module and reflashing a controller, and it is the reason this is reversible in a minute.
Nothing Upstream Notices
The engine controller issues its instruction and the module modifies it afterwards. From the controller's point of view the motorcycle behaves exactly as it always has, which is why nothing is logged.
The Second Thing
Steady-speed hunting disappears or reduces. On a motorway at a constant opening a lean cruise setting produces a slow surge that riders stop noticing until it stops happening.
On a Motorcycle With Two Owners
A shared machine ridden by somebody who does not know the module is there will notice nothing at all. It changes nothing about how the motorcycle is operated, only how it responds.
Fitting Without a Manual
The connectors only mate one way and the harness is cut to length. There is genuinely nothing to get wrong beyond deciding where to put the module and securing it there.
