A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas leaked. A hose-mounted reservoir lets the damper be fitted where a piggyback would not go. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Genuine Service Part

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00302-04. Öhlins states dimension a 44 mm, dimension b 133 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas leaked. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00302-04

Category: Reservoirs

Dimension A: 44 mm

Dimension B: 133 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00302-04_f2c7488a-35c9-4057-a2da-de1ae9c898d4.png?v=1788869067
