DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Race belly pan is cut for a motorcycle with an aftermarket exhaust and no catalytic converter. Removing the catalyst frees a considerable amount of space under the engine, and this pan uses it: the profile is deeper and closer to the cases than the standard version can be.

Key Features

  • Belly pan for aftermarket exhaust systems without a catalytic converter
  • 245 Twill weave in clear coat, matt, raw or twill satin
  • Autoclave-cured laminate with a deeper section than the standard pan
  • Original mounting points and fasteners
  • Does not fit a machine with the standard Euro 5 system

Check the System, Not the Model Year

This is the one article in the M1000RR range where the model year tells you nothing. What matters is whether the catalyst is still in the exhaust, and that depends on what the previous owner did rather than on what BMW built.

Look under the motorcycle before ordering. If there is a catalyst, order the standard pan; if there is a straight pipe into the silencer, order this one. A photograph sent to us costs nothing and resolves it in a minute.

Fitment and Compatibility

BMW M1000RR, model years 2023 through 2026, with an aftermarket exhaust system and no catalytic converter. The standard-exhaust version is a separate article.

Road Approval

Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. A motorcycle without a catalytic converter is in most European markets not road legal regardless of what belly pan it wears — this article assumes a machine used on closed circuits.

A Part That Says What the Bike Is For

Fitting this pan is a statement that the motorcycle has left the road behind, and it is worth being clear-eyed about that. The exhaust configuration it requires is itself the thing that ends road registration in most countries, not the pan.

On a machine in that condition, raw is the obvious finish: cheapest, no lacquer to mark on a paddock stand, and appropriate to a part whose job is to catch oil rather than to look good in a photograph.
