DescriptionThe whole story▼

Light enough to be easy, comfortable enough to go far: many owners of the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, built 2022 to 2025, discover that it makes a capable little tourer. For those who ride it through the year, pack it with soft luggage and set off in whatever weather comes, Accossato lists front pad AGPA72 in the Sintered (ST) compound. It is designed to keep a steady, high grip whether the brake is cold or hot, and to go on working on a wet disc.

Key Features

  • Sintered (ST) front pad AGPA72
  • For the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, 2022-2025
  • Accossato: high and stable grip across temperatures; grips in the wet
  • Suits light touring and all-season commuting
  • Consistent lever in rain
  • Two pads per box, one front caliper
  • OR, EV1 and EV2 alternatives available

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato puts the Sintered compound in these terms: a high grip level that stays constant at high and low temperatures, and good grip in the wet. For a middleweight that is used as a year-round commuter and weekend tourer, those two properties cover most of what riders will meet. Across its range, the company also names slow wear, fade kept in check by limited heat and a strong stop.

The Middleweight Tourer in Bad Weather

A Tiger Sport 660 used for commuting through winter meets cold, wet roads morning and evening, often in the dark. On a summer tour it might carry soft panniers and a tent over a string of mountain passes. In both cases the front brake needs to deliver the same bite from the first stop to the last, and to keep working when the discs are wet. A Sintered pad is designed for this. Newer riders who use the bike all year will also appreciate that the lever feels the same in November as in July. For gentle town use, OR is kinder to the discs; for track days, EV1.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA72 for the front of the Tiger Sport 660 from 2022 to 2025. With two front calipers, two boxes are needed. For the rear, Accossato lists AGPP89 for the same years. Replace pads on both calipers together, bed them in with progressive stops, and after winter rides rinse the calipers to remove salt.

Road Approval

There is no German ABE or test documentation for AGPA72ST in our records. It is sold for competition use.
