DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Husqvarna FS 450 is a supermoto, and a good number of them are ridden on public roads all year, rain included. For owners of the 2015 to 2022 FS 450 who want a front brake that stays predictable in wet and cold conditions, Accossato offers this front pad in the Sintered (ST) compound. It is the all-weather choice in the range for this bike, and one box contains the pair for the front caliper.

Key Features

  • Sintered (ST) front pads for the Husqvarna FS 450, 2015 to 2022
  • High, steady grip from a cold disc to a hot one
  • Good bite in the rain and on wet roads
  • Consistent lever feel for year-round road use
  • Two pads per box, one caliper set
  • Rear pad AGPP80 and discs DK018 and DK259 also listed for the FS 450

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says the ST compound keeps a high, constant grip level at both high and low temperatures and grips well in the wet. On a supermoto ridden in the rain, that means the front brake bites without hesitation when the disc is soaked and does not change its character as it warms. The brand also lists its usual pad qualities: low wear, reduced fade from limited heating, and strong braking power.

Supermoto in the Rain

A supermoto like the FS 450 is light and has a powerful front brake, which is a combination that demands care on a wet road. A compound that bites evenly and without surprises helps the rider dose the lever gently when grip is scarce. Road spray, salt and grime also wear pads faster, so check thickness and disc condition more often in the wet season, and wash the caliper after salty rides. After fitting new pads, clean the pistons, push them back, wipe the disc clean and pump the lever until it is firm before the first ride. For dry track sessions, Accossato also makes this pad in EV1, EV2 and ZXC.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's front pad for the Husqvarna FS 450 of 2015 to 2022 is AGPA106, here in the ST mix. The FS 450 uses one front disc, so a single box normally covers the front wheel; check if the brake has been changed. At the rear, the same supermoto takes the pad AGPP80, and Accossato lists the discs DK018 and DK259 for the model.

Road Approval

There are no approval papers (ABE or test mark) on our side for these pads, so they are sold for racing and competition use.
