DescriptionThe whole story▼
In city traffic, a tall bike like the Kawasaki Versys 1000 S needs careful low-speed control, and the rear brake is the rider's most useful tool for it. Accossato lists the AGPP88 rear pad in the Organic mixture for the Versys 1000 S from 2021 to 2024. It gives a soft, progressive pedal for filtering, parking and tight turns, and is designed to last well while keeping wear on the rear disc low.
Key Features
- Rear pads AGPP88 for the Kawasaki Versys 1000 S, 2021 to 2024
- Organic mixture, SKU AGPP88OR
- Accossato: durable and gentle on the disc
- Soft, progressive pedal for urban riding
- Quiet at low speed
- ST also available on this plate
- No ABE held; for competition
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's claim for this compound is simple: it lasts and it limits wear on the disc. For the rear of a Versys 1000 S used in town, where the pedal is touched constantly, that means pads that stay in service longer and a disc that keeps its thickness. Accossato adds that controlling heat helps its pads avoid fading. The organic block is fixed to the regular AGPP88 plate.
Filtering on a Tall Bike
Filtering through slow traffic on a tall bike requires a steady, controlled pace. Riders often drag the rear brake lightly to keep the bike stable at walking speed, which is easier with a pad that responds gently and in proportion. The organic set gives the Versys 1000 S that calm character.
The rear pads on a bike used in town wear faster than many owners expect. Check them at every service, keep chain lube away from the disc and look at the pedal free play. If the pedal feels spongy, check the fluid level in the rear reservoir.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues AGPP88 for the rear of the Versys 1000 S from 2021 to 2024; the front pad for the same bikes is AGPA109. No Accossato disc is listed for this version in our data. One box is enough for the single rear caliper. Compare the pad outline with the pads you take out before fitting.
Road Approval
AGPP88OR comes without an ABE or German approval document that we could provide. It is intended for competition.
Scope of Delivery
