DescriptionThe whole story▼
Stepping up in displacement from the 250EXC-F to the two-stroke 300EXC changes nothing about the current rear brake hose; Accossato lists the identical part for both current models. The fitting can be ordered plain in stainless steel or painted in one of five colours, with the braid itself spanning twenty shades.
Key Features
- Single braided hose for the rear brake line
- Standard S-layout routing
- Stainless steel or painted stainless fittings in five colours
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Covers the rear circuit only; front hose not included
- Shared across a wide spread of current Husqvarna and KTM enduro models
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato finishes this rear hose with the same stainless aeronautical braid used throughout its current catalogue, a fitting that stays bare in stainless steel or goes painted in five colours, and a twenty-shade sheath range. The job stops at the rear caliper connection; the front brake line is outside the scope of this part.
One Rear Hose Across Two Brands
The 300EXC's older brake history is considerably messier than this current fitment suggests: Accossato once folded a Six-Days edition, a Factory Edition and the standard bike into one historical code, AGA0277, each with its own production window. The current 2024–2025 bike leaves that complexity behind and simply shares its single rear hose with most of Husqvarna's modern enduro line-up instead. The historical complexity on the older code is worth knowing even for a current buyer, since a parts search by model name alone can surface the wrong era entirely. A workshop fitting this hose should expect to leave the front brake circuit entirely alone, since the current fitment never extends past the rear caliper connection.
Fitment and Compatibility
This hose fits the KTM 300EXC built in 2024 or 2025, and the same part reaches deep into Husqvarna's current line-up besides: every FE four-stroke from the 250 up to the 501, the FS 450 supermoto, and the TE and TX two-strokes, on top of numerous other current KTM EXC-F models. For earlier years, use AGA0277.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 1 braided hose for the Standard layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
