Öhlins publishes an exploded view for each unit, and every position in it carries its own number.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 00191-08

Function

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. This part comes from the same production as the components it goes into. Öhlins supports its units with individual parts rather than only with complete assemblies. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece.

Original Öhlins Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00191-08. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. An original Öhlins service part, listed under its own number in the Öhlins spare parts catalogue. This part comes from the same production as the components it goes into.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00191-08

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00191-08_3ed4e4c7-1f59-431a-91e9-d99fe89b54bc.png?v=1788871442
