Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk.

Original Öhlins Part

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

How to Be Sure It Fits

00329-04 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. dimension a 53 mm, dimension b 1.5 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. Groove width decides the thickness — the next size does not hold.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit.
