Fitted to the new Tiger Sport 800, the JP ACCGP TR039 shortens the ride-by-wire throttle's rotation to 60 degrees. Triumph's sport-touring triple is built for longer days covering distance, and less wrist rotation to reach full throttle reduces effort over a day's riding without altering the bike's mapping.

Distance With an Edge
The Tiger Sport 800 sits between a pure tourer and a sportier naked, built to cover ground quickly without losing the comfort needed for a long day. A throttle that opens with less rotation fits a bike meant to be ridden hard and far on the same outing.
Progressive by Design
The return spring behind the shortened throw resists more as the throttle opens further, so a light touch near idle does not translate into a loose, vague feel further into the throttle's travel. The resistance builds in step with how far the throttle has already opened.
The Signal Is Unchanged
Inside the unit, the throttle position sensor communicates with the ECU exactly as the standard part does, meaning the triple's fuelling and any rider aids continue to receive the signal they were set up to expect. Only the mechanical travel to reach that signal's limit is shorter.
The 800 Triple's New Character
Triumph's newer triple in this Tiger Sport is tuned for a responsive, eager feel, and a shorter throttle throw supports that by cutting the delay between a wrist movement and the engine's reply. Riders moving up from a smaller Triumph often notice this responsiveness within the first few miles.
Machined for Consistency
The housing is cut from a single billet of Ergal 7075 aluminium rather than assembled from separate cast pieces, keeping the internal tolerances consistent around the bearings and spring even after extended use. That consistency matters most after many thousands of throttle openings over a season of regular riding.
A Routine Relearn
Fitting ends with a throttle position relearn through the bike's diagnostic port, resetting the ECU's baseline to the new unit in a short, standard procedure. It typically takes only a few minutes once the physical installation itself is finished. It usually adds only a short extra step to the overall workshop appointment.
