DescriptionThe whole story▼
The G 650 GS appeals to many riders because of its low seat and approachable single-cylinder character, and among them are plenty of shorter riders who want a GS they can handle with confidence. Even so, the moment of stopping remains a test. A road that falls away towards the kerb, a patch of gravel or a pothole under the boot, and the bike leans past the point where it can be held. Accossato's AGD200 is a black replacement brake lever in the form of the original, listed for the G 650 GS from 2009 to 2015.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato presents the AGD200 as a straightforward spare of the original type rather than a redesign, and that keeps the G 650 GS looking standard at the right grip. The company developed its replacement levers with value for money in mind and says that its production method raises their resistance after damage or a crash. The AGD200 is black, in line with Accossato's listing, and no other technical data are given.
When the Foot Finds No Ground
Most standstill falls happen in the last metre before the bike stops or the first metre after it starts. Look at the ground before you stop, not once you are already stationary: choose the flat part of the road, avoid painted lines when it is wet, and aim for a spot where your boot will land on something firm. Many shorter riders put down only the foot on the higher side of a cambered road and shift their weight across the seat towards it. Keep the front brake gently held until you are settled, because a bike that rolls forward a few centimetres while you are on tiptoe is far harder to hold. If the G 650 GS goes over all the same, the right-hand lever is often the casualty. Replace it rather than straightening it, and test the brake light and the pressure point before riding on.
Fitment and Compatibility
On Accossato's list, the AGD200 is the only replacement brake lever for the G 650 GS and is given for 2009 to 2015: for the ABS version of 2009 and 2010 and for bikes with and without ABS from 2011 to 2015. For the clutch, Accossato lists two black replacement levers over the same years, AGS204 and AGS299; compare their photos with your own lever to find the right one. Accossato's CNC clutch lever ESB008 is available for this model too, but no CNC brake lever is listed for it.
Road Approval
The AGD200 has no documented German ABE and no test mark, as we have not received any approval papers for it; it is therefore offered for racing and competition use.
